Fault or No Fault?

Pennsylvania family law does not require that one party be at fault as grounds for granting an uncontested divorce. In most divorces, fault will not be a factor, but it can be a consideration in a judge's decision to grant spousal support and alimony, and in cases where one spouse does not agree to a divorce (which is a contested divorce).

Almost every divorce will involve decisions regarding the division of marital assets and debt.
